Amazing Glass Cleaner
searching for the one that is amazing! I have tried clear ones, blue ones,
some with ammonia, some with vinegar, some that promise the best results,
some from discount stores.
I don’t like to spend a lot of time cleaning. I
have small children and they don’t really allow much time either. However,
I do want my windows, glass doors and appliances to shine, sparkle and be
completely streak free and I need instant gratification! Since I am not a professional window cleaner, I know that is a lot to ask. I have one of those squeegee things, have used paper towels, newspaper, micro
fiber…just about everything to achieve a streak free finish. Still no
success.
One night I was up later than I like to be-surfing the internet.
It crossed my mind to look up natural window cleaner recipes. I found so
much information, it was helpful and a little overwhelming. I took the easy
route and chose a window cleaner recipe with 3 ingredients. IT IS AMAZING!
Now I mix a gallon at a time so I have it on hand for a while. (Keep
reading - I’ll share the recipe a little later.)
Still a little skeptical, I made the glass cleaner, and sprayed it on the
front door. It seemed really “wet” to me. I used my paper towel to wipe it
off. I cleaned to outside of the door next. I was taken back…I couldn’t
believe it! I had found what I had been searching for all this time, my
amazing glass cleaner! It was so clean and streak free that you really had
to look to see if glass was there or not. I’m not kidding!
The magic recipe is simply this:
1 cup water (tap water)
1 cup isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol
1 teaspoon vinegar
Just mix it all together, pour it in a spray bottle and get cleaning!
Enjoy this recipe! I really do and when my kiddos smear their
hands all over the glass door to make pictures I don’t stress over it
anymore. As easily as they accomplish their goal, I can clean it up later
and achieve mine as well.
